Our Education System

What was our education system and where is it going now?

What steps have been taken to rectify this and what is needed?

History

Islamic military education

Every believer who believes in Allah is convinced of His sovereignty and oneness, can he forget his first lesson "Iqra"? Allah Almighty has placed great emphasis on the acquisition, publication and practice of education. Allah says (interpretation of the meaning): “Only those who have knowledge fear Allah.” Highlighting its importance, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

Today's Muslim has forgotten this first lesson of Islam, deviated from its purpose and its thinking and ideology has weakened, its history has faded in front of it. English education and culture dominated their minds. However, as long as we ruled, everyone was able to read, write and understand, and everyone had equal access to education.

The history of the subcontinent testifies that most Muslim rulers were interested in science and literature. His attitude towards education was free and friendly. Muhammad Ghauri conquered Multan. His friendliness of knowledge can be gauged from the observation that he gave higher education to his slaves and enlightened them with the light of knowledge and literature. That is why a slave like Qutbuddin Abiq, a resourceful ruler and conqueror was born, who laid the foundation of a stable government in India.

Mahmoud Ghaznavi's name is very prominent in history. He himself was an expert in memorizing the Qur'an and hadith and jurisprudence. He authored a book on authentic jurisprudence. He founded mosques and madrassas and patronized them himself. He built a high-quality library and collected rare books from afar. This was the age of knowledge in which there were private libraries of emperors and scholars and their doors were open to everyone, general and special.

The Muslim rulers used to fix monthly stipends for teachers so that they could be engaged in academic and teaching activities and economic weakness could not be an obstacle for them. Princes and nobles, military officers and nawabs. By naming the madrassas after their own names, they would bear their own expenses. Everywhere such an atmosphere of knowledge was common that the teachers, wherever available, would seat the students and start teaching. Mosques were centers of worship as well as teaching. Some scholars and teachers would personally pass on the knowledge to the students and also teach some other profession of employment. In this way, the teacher-student relationship was based on sincerity. This relationship was the true figure and example of literature and respect.

During this period, education was conducted in three levels. After primary, secondary and higher, it was considered superior. In the early grades, basic literacy and the Qur'an were taught. Education was common in Persian and Arabic. In higher education, only grammar, logic, wisdom, jurisprudence, principles of jurisprudence, commentary, hadith, theology, rhetoric and mathematics would be selected from the teachers and they would be engaged in social work.

Women were also involved in the education process. Arrangements were made for them at home. The practice of statistics was not common in those days. So it is difficult to say what the literacy rate was. But the pages of history testify that education was common. Everyone was able to correspond. It was common practice to cite hadith in common parlance. After our arrival, the British gained social, political and cultural domination over us as well as education. Their claim of education friendship - their place but the facts is something else. Only these historians can tell us what the literacy rate was before their arrival and what it was after. The effects of their slavery can still be felt. And I don't know how long we will endure this!

A Glimpse Of The Current Cystem

From engineering to the whole of Sharia

The ups and downs of human life are a natural process. The more observations a person goes through in his life, the more he expands his thinking and the depth of his words. My life is also a link to those observations. I was also trained in a society where this is what children usually think. So we worked hard and made our parents' dream come true. After I entered university, we were eager to move into this new environment. Finally, the day came when we

University Punch went. Upon entering the gate of the university, the artificial structure inside looked like a newlywed bride. A tall library building talking to the sky in front of it, on the steps of which a group of boys and girls were engrossed in conversations.

They had come to Carmen Gate. But the fairy scenes on it are more interesting, refreshing and inspiring for a young person. I wanted to follow the path towards the paradise of paradise gardens. But not realizing the time, I started walking towards my department. Outside the classroom, a modern fashion-impaired couple approached me and their intentions did not seem right. He became so angry with me that his face was covered with an artificial head. I looked up and saw that many rivals had grabbed me. Rivals of rivals were always heard on all sides. They wanted to humiliate the weaker rivals in the name of fouling. He surrounded his weak rival with an army. Seeing the tragic end of his superstitious victories, the helpless courage responded. It was clear that even for a few moments, it is difficult to escape from these senior rivals, except to give up in this field.

There is no choice. The seniors were determined to humiliate me. What happened to me after that can't be put into words. The seniors greeted us in such a way that my boss did not speak for them. Before the arrival of the teachers, we had endured so much humiliation that it made us wonder how human beings live in such a holy place. And thousands of questions began to arise in our minds about their training - the effect of the mixed education system and the Western mentality of teachers was that students from rural areas started wearing jeans and came to class with spike hairstyles that were less educated. And Hollywood heroes seem to be more. Why not when the mindset of our teachers is judged by the fact that they used to say that you should call me Mr. Ayaz instead of vinegar and when you feel bored in class, your girlfriend. Can go with canteen

And I don't need permission. Therefore, in this environment, the girls 'hall was not different from the boys’; the girls would come to class as if someone had come for a shoot. In this context, we only learned that money

How to earn. As if our goal was only money, bungalow, car and beautiful wife. We took to the field for this purpose and started making money. But we were not satisfied with the foundations that were shaken by this Western environment. So we started searching. The path we saw was all The Sharia was ... After a very difficult examination phase, Allah included us among the students who were declared eligible for it. But at the same time, all the breaking news started coming to my mind that these are the universities of the ignorant. It was weird. In the name of Allah, when we entered, the senior came and took the luggage, met him warmly and left the room. Help and support were the blessings of the Qur'an and Hadith and the effect of the environment full of saints that all the students who came from the universities. It has been almost seventy years since Pakistan saw a new color and learned and became a practical example of religion. Can be made in which all the sciences are combined.

Steps

The need for a new education system

According to a survey, the speed at which the world is advancing the stages of knowledge and research, the breadth and depth of this knowledge and research doubles every ten years. In an age where different methods, curriculum and institution building for human education and training are in existence. There are growing difficulties for religious education. Some of our greats are convinced of static imitation. Todos want to integrate into the new thinking system. So is there a need for an internationally accepted curriculum in this modern age? Who and what steps have been taken for this and what is needed?

Kalita al-Sharia is the first step towards this destination. The basis of the Shari'ah is based on the thinking and ideology of our greats, which was not possible at that time due to the oppression of circumstances, the confusion of ideas and static imitation. Hazrat Ustad Sahib, Mufti Abdul Rahim Sahib Damat Barakatham's sincerity, high character and his observation and experience laid the foundation of an educational movement by adopting this thought and ideology. Which is a mixture of Aligarh and Deoband. All the scholars who were not getting the rate on this movement were shown to be practically successful. Kalita al-Sharia is the most important link in this movement. In which university graduate four-year Shariah course is taught.

Where there is an urgent need to acquaint university graduates with Shariah sciences. For which the whole of Shariah is an important and useful and unique development. On the other hand, introducing a three-year Shariah diploma and course for matriculation students is also a matter of urgency. The curriculum should be designed in a way that is internationally recognized and parallel to secondary education. The example of technical education is before us. Upon completion of this, the student should be able to understand Imam and oratory, Qur'anic teaching and basic issues and be qualified and suitable for higher education in the university. So that they can express the religion clearly and accurately.

Jamiat-ur-Rasheed, Karachi is striving to meet this need. He introduced various educational fields. His breadth of ideas, high character, and maturity in his thinking and vision can be gauged from the fact that he absorbed people of different ideologies, who grew up in different cultures. Then the color and thinking of Jamiat-ur-Rasheed was painted on them. They were molded in the molds of this movement's vision. Then these students jump into the practical field with their previous experience and new thinking and vision. Find within yourself the ability to withstand all kinds of waves in the sea of conditions.

This work where the utility and goals are very high and lofty. Some necessary steps will have to be taken to address them. Otherwise, the flower buds will not wither. This flower garden is deserted

And do not become a pile of thorns. Enlightened by the light of faith, these voices should not become a source of lost hearts. ? These people should not become a source of chaos. These things are very heartfelt but time is of the essence. May Allah create such people who are religion?

Let's start by trying to understand and fulfill every need. Amen
